Palestinian worker injured by Israeli fire in Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, November 16, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian worker was injured by Israeli gunfire on Sunday morning in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its emergency teams in Ramallah treated a 26-year-old worker who had been shot with live ammunition near the Israeli segregation wall, close to Al-Ram. He was then transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Since the beginning of this year, 15 Palestinian workers have been killed by Israeli forces, either through direct gunfire, while being chased inside Israel, or by falling from the segregation wall, according to data from the General Union of Palestinian Workers.

In recent months, hundreds of workers have been subjected to detention and mistreatment by Israeli police, under the pretext of not possessing the necessary permits to work in Israel.
