HEBRON, November 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces have continued to enforce a strict closure of the Old City of Hebron since yesterday, tightening military measures across its neighborhoods and streets. Meanwhile, thousands of colonists stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque, under the pretext of celebrating Jewish holidays.
Anti-colonialism activist Aref Jaber reported that, as of the time of this report, Israeli forces were still blocking access to all neighborhoods in the Old City. The military declared a curfew yesterday and restricted the movement of local Palestinian residents. They also set up numerous checkpoints on the main streets leading to the Ibrahimi Mosque, closing several neighborhoods and preventing locals from moving freely.
In a related development, thousands of Israeli colonists broke into the Ibrahimi Mosque and the surrounding plaza, citing their celebration of Sarah's Sabbath, a Jewish festival. During these events, Israeli forces assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens and blocked their access to homes and workplaces.
