RAMALLAH, November 15, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the rains are exacerbating the already dire situation in the Gaza Strip, with families seeking refuge wherever they can find shelter, including makeshift tents.

In a statement released Saturday, the agency added, "Shelter supplies are urgently needed in Gaza, and we have them available. We urge permission to deliver them to the population."

The agency warned that the current storm affecting the Gaza Strip will have catastrophic consequences for displaced people there.

UNRWA also stated that there are international efforts underway to pressure Israel to allow aid into the Gaza Strip.
