JERICHO, November 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists attacked a Palestinian man this evening in Shallal al-Auja area, north of Jericho, beating him and smashing the windows of his vehicle, according to a local official.

The general supervisor of Al-Baidar Organization for Human Rights, Hassan Mleihat, said that a group of colonists pelted Ahmad Mohammad Ghawanmeh’s vehicle with stones while he was returning from Jericho city to his home in Shallal al-Auja.

Colonists then assaulted Ghawanmeh, leaving him with bruises across his body, and inflicted severe damage to his vehicle.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
