Israeli forces issue two military orders to uproot olive trees and seize about 5 dunums in Qalqilya

QALQILYA, November 13, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today delivered two military orders to uproot olive trees and seize land in the eastern area of the city of Qalqilya, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that the first order stipulates the uprooting of olive trees in the eastern part of the city, which covers approximately eight dunums of land.

According to the same sources, the second order amends a previous military order that had authorized the confiscation of 2.3 dunums, expanding it to 5.137 dunums, an increase of about 2.392 dunums.

The lands affected by the new amendment belong to the Khalif and Radwan families from the nearby town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, and to the Abu Hamed family from the city itself. The confiscation is reportedly intended for the construction of a fence around the area.
