JERUSALEM, November 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities today barred a Jerusalemite resident from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for a period of six months.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Majdi Abisan was detained by Israeli forces at the end of October while performing Friday prayers at the mosque. He was later released and initially barred from the mosque for one week, a period subject to extension.
The Governorate reported that it recorded 17 expulsion orders in October, 16 of which specifically targeted entry to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
