RAMALLAH, November 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces continued their military raid on the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah, since early Sunday afternoon, amid repressive measures that included detaining and interrogating several young men and raiding shops in the village center.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces were heavily deployed throughout the village, with soldiers stopping youths, checking their identification, and subjecting some to field interrogations.

Forces also raided several shops in the village, conducting thorough searches, and imposed strict restrictions on the movement of citizens and their vehicles, disrupting daily life in the village.

These incursions come amid escalating Israeli violations against villages and towns north of Ramallah, including closures, the establishment of checkpoints, military raids, and detentions, as part of a policy aimed at pressuring and restricting the local population.
