SALFIT, November 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday demolished the home of Palestinian prisoner Maher Zuhair Samara in the town of Bruqin, in the central West Bank province of Salfit.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli forces raided the town accompanied by a military bulldozer and began demolishing the two-story house, while heavily deploying soldiers in the surrounding area.

The demolition is part of Israel’s long-standing policy of punitive home demolitions, a practice that has been widely condemned by Palestinian and international human rights organizations as an act of collective punishment and a grave violation of international humanitarian law.
