HEBRON, November 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Armed Israeli colonists on Thursday attacked Palestinian agricultural land in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, stealing olive harvests and destroying fruit-bearing trees.
According to local witnesses, groups of colonists—some carrying weapons—raided fields belonging to the Jabarin and Abu Aram families in the area. They picked the olives and loaded them into their vehicles before leaving the area.
In the nearby village of Susya, armed colonists vandalized several productive olive trees owned by local residents. After damaging the trees, the colonists carried out a provocative march around Palestinian homes and attempted to approach the houses, but local residents confronted them and forced them to retreat. No injuries were reported.
Colonist attacks routinely intensify during the annual olive harvest, a period that holds economic and cultural importance for Palestinian families.
Human rights organizations have documented recurring incidents in which colonists steal harvests, uproot or burn trees, and assault farmers in an attempt to push them off their land.
