RAMALLAH, November 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces have continued their raid on the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, since dawn today, and have closed its only western entrance.
Marzouq Abu Naim, deputy head of the al-Mughayyir village council, told WAFA that occupation forces raided a number of homes, detained residents, and interrogated them on the spot.
He added that a large military force of the Israeli army stormed the village this morning from several directions, deploying military vehicles accompanied by infantry units.
They detained a number of residents whose identities are not yet known and occupied a residential building belonging to Raed Abu Aliya after forcibly evicting its residents.
Abu Naim continued, saying that the occupation forces closed the western entrance to the village with earth mounds, preventing residents from entering or leaving.
He pointed out that the ongoing incursions into the village have prevented employees from going to work and students from attending school and university. The occupation forces also distributed leaflets threatening the villagers.
It should be noted that the western entrance is currently the only access point to the village after the occupation forces closed the eastern entrance on October 7, 2023.
