JENIN, November 6, 2025 (WAFA) – A child was killed by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Ya'bad, west of Jenin, early Thursday morning.
The Ministry of Health said that the General Authority for Civil Affairs informed them of the death of 15-year-old Murad Fawzi Abu Seifen, who was shot by Israeli forces, adding that his body was being held by the Israeli authorities.
Local sources said that Israeli forces stormed the town of Ya'bad last night and opened fire on Abu Seifen in one of the town's streets, hitting him with four bullets.
They prevented ambulance crews from reaching him and left him to bleed to death before seizing his body.
The Israeli forces deployed snipers on a building in the town and raided its streets.
With the killing of Abu Seifen, the number of Palestinians killed in the Jenin governorate since the start of the Israeli offensive on Jenin city and refugee camp on January 21 has risen to 56, with more than 200 wounded.
During this period, the occupation forces completely demolished more than 600 homes, representing 33% of the camp, while 22,000 residents were displaced to towns and villages around Jenin and some neighborhoods within the city itself.
The occupation forces intensify their daily incursions into towns and villages around Jenin, conducting raids and searches of homes, detaining residents, and subjecting them to field interrogations.
