JORDAN VALLEY, November 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists began fencing off agricultural lands in the northern Jordan Valley on Thursday, in preparation for seizing them.
The head of the al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that colonists began fencing off lands registered in the land registry (Tabu) to Palestinian citizens in Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley.
Daraghmeh added that the targeted lands cover approximately 2,000 dunams, which the citizens used for rain-fed agriculture and to benefit from the crops they produced to feed their livestock.
For weeks, colonists have been fencing off lands owned by Palestinian citizens in various areas of the northern Jordan Valley, in an attempt to seize them and impose a new reality on the ground by force.
In Farsiya, the colonists fenced off more than 500 dunams, and in Umm al-Jamal they tried to fence off about 1200 dunams before the Palestinian authorities intervened.
