GAZA, April 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli naval forces detained five fishermen off the coast of Gaza City on Tuesday morning.

According to local sources, the Israeli navy detained five fishermen, all residents of Gaza City, including two siblings.

The sources indicate that the Israeli navy deliberately targets fishermen in the Gaza sea daily, detaining them repeatedly.

However, since October 7, 2023, the Israeli navy has prevented fishermen from fishing, significantly reducing their numbers and destroying all their boats. This has forced them to fish under extremely dangerous conditions to provide for their families.
