Israel strike Gaza City despite ceasefire deal

GAZA, November 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli fighter jets on Monday evening struck Gaza City in ongoing breach of the ceasefire deal, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Israeli aircraft launched two strikes on Eastern Gaza.

Israeli aerial and artillery bombardment have been ongoing since Sunday night, particularly in Khan Younis and Gaza City, killing and injuring a number of civilians.

Israel has killed 236 Palestinian civilians and injured 600 others, since the US-brokered ceasefire began on 10 October, at a time when the bodies of 502 slain Palestinians have been retrieved from the rubble.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes that killed 13,598 Palestinians and injured 57,849 others.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 68,865 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 170,670 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
