Hebron: Suffocation injuries during sit-in against colonists' attacks

HEBRON, November 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at Palestinians during a sit-in organized by residents of the towns of Idhna and Tarqumiya, west of Hebron, to protect their lands from attacks by the occupation and its colonists. This resulted in several Palestinians suffering from suffocation.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces raided the Al-Jalatiya and Deir Qatti neighborhoods in the town of Tarqumiya, east of Idhna, during a sit-in organized by residents and local institutions to protect their lands from colonists attacks. The forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the Palestinians, causing dozens to suffer from suffocation due to inhaling the gas.

A young man also sustained a broken hand after being directly hit by a stun grenade fired by occupation soldiers.

He was transported to the hospital by Red Crescent crews for treatment.
