Colonists plow Palestinian land near Hebron

HEBRON, November 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists plowed Palestinian-owned land in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, on Sunday, in preparation for seizing it and annexing it to a recently established colonial outpost.

Idhna Mayor Jaber Tmaizi said that colonists, accompanied by tractors, plowed Palestinian-owned land in the al-Jalatiyya area, east of the town.

The land belongs to the Tmaizi and Sawaifeh families, among others, and the colonists intend to cultivate it and annex it to lands seized in recent months, with the aim of expanding the new colonial outpost.

He pointed out that a number of colonists residing in the outpost, under the protection of the occupation forces, are terrorizing, harassing, assaulting, and arresting Palestinians in order to depopulate the area.

This is part of a broader plan to seize more of the town's land, which has already been swallowed up by the separation wall and the colonial outposts legalized by the Israeli government.

Tmaizi called on farmers and landowners to gather tomorrow morning in the area to reject the occupation's policy of forcibly seizing these lands, noting that the municipality will work within the law to stop this policy aimed at displacing citizens and seizing their lands by force.
