BETHLEHEM, November 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were wounded by gunfire from Israeli colonists on Saturday during an attack on the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem.
The head of the Al-Minya village council, Zayed Kawazba, told WAFA that a group of armed colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked residents in the vicinity of the village, opened fire directly on residents, wounding three in their lower extremities and were subsequently taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Kawazba added that the colonist also grazed their livestock among the olive trees, a provocative act aimed at displacing the residents and seizing their lands adjacent to the settlements established in the area.
He noted that Israeli forces were present at the scene and provided protection for the colonists, exacerbating tension and fear among local residents.
The village of Al-Minya is subjected to frequent attacks by colonists, including land incursions, trees destruction, and restrictions preventing farmers from accessing their land.
