Israeli forces seal off main entrance to town east of Ramallah block all movement

RAMALLAH, October 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces this evening closed the main entrance to the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli army and police units raided the town from its main entrance, completely blocking movement and preventing residents from entering or leaving.

Earlier today, Deir Dibwan was subjected to a new attack by colonists, who attacked the home of a Palestinian family on the outskirts of the town while they were harvesting olives on their land.

Confrontations erupted at the town’s entrance between residents and colonists, with the occupation army backing the colonists and opening live fire. The colonists then split into two groups: one raided the nearby town of Beitin, and the other remained in Deir Dibwan.

During the attack, the colonists damaged the front façade of a house, set agricultural land in Beitin on fire, burned two vehicles, and broke the glass of a mosque at the entrance of Deir Dibwan.

Israeli forces also fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades toward residents who tried to confront the attack, causing several cases of suffocation among them.

In the meantime, a group of colonists this evening attacked Palestinian residents’ homes in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, throwing stones and damaging the glass of a vehicle before residents confronted them.
