Israeli colonists prevent shepherds from accessing pastures east of Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, October 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday morning prevented Palestinian shepherds from reaching their grazing lands in the Khan Al-Ahmar area, east of occupied Jerusalem, according to local rights groups.

The Al-Baydar Human Rights Organization said that groups of colonists blocked the path of several shepherds, stopping them from accessing the pastures they rely on for raising their livestock.

The organization noted that such actions are part of a series of provocative measures aimed at pressuring Bedouin communities around Jerusalem and forcing residents to abandon their lands under daily harassment.

Rights groups called on international and human rights organizations to intervene urgently to halt these repeated violations and ensure that shepherds can move freely and carry out their work safely on their lands.
