NABLUS, October 29, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man sustained fractures and bruises on Wednesday after being attacked by colonists in the lands of al-Sawiya village, south of Nablus.

The head of the village council, Mahmoud Hassan, said that colonists attacked farmers and participants in an olive harvest activity in the eastern lands of the village, resulting in injuries to Nihad Abu Arar, the deputy head of the village council, who suffered fractures and bruises after being assaulted and pushed by the settlers.

He added: “Abu Arar was taken to the hospital after falling in very rugged terrain. This occurred after the Israeli police arrived and directed us to take a rough path, when a group of armed settlers accompanied by dogs attacked us.”
