BETHLEHEM, October 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained 44 Palestinians on Wednesday during a raid on Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem.
A security source told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the camp at dawn, raided numerous homes, and detained dozens of residents inside for several hours.
They were interrogated on the spot before being released.
The source added that the raid was accompanied by a heavy deployment of soldiers throughout the camp's alleyways, amid heightened tensions between residents and the invading forces.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces also raided Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem and the town of Doha to the west.
No detentions or injuries have been reported so far.
