JERUSALEM, October 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli municipality crews in occupied Jerusalem continued their demolition campaign on Tuesday targeting small shops, kiosks, and street vendors' stalls around Bab al-Amoud, one of the most prominent entrances to the Old City.
The demolition campaign is taking place under heavy protection from Israeli police, who prevented the owners from reaching their premises.
Since the morning, the area has witnessed a widespread deployment of Israeli occupation forces and police, who have closed off the area around Bab al-Amoud.
This campaign is part of a policy aimed at restricting Jerusalemite vendors, seizing their property, and depriving them of their livelihood, as part of a plan to Judaize the Holy City.
