QALQILYA, October 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented farmers from reaching their lands in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, on Tuesday, to harvest olives.
Local sources reported to WAFA that IOF stormed the northwestern area of the village, known as "Qatayn," and positioned themselves at its entrance.
They prevented farmers from reaching their lands, while dozens of them waited for permission to pass and continue their agricultural work.
Earlier today, IOF stormed the city of Qalqilya from its eastern entrance, deployed along Al-Wad Street and 22 Street, and raided a building in the Shuraim neighborhood before withdrawing and storming the town of Habla, south of the city. No detentions were reported.
Olive pickers in the Palestinian governorates are subjected to repeated attacks by colonists and IOF soldiers, who prevent them from harvesting olives and accessing their lands in several areas.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, its teams have monitored a total of 158 attacks against olive pickers since the beginning of the current season.
The occupation army carried out 17 attacks, while settlers carried out 141.
