RAMALLAH, October 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities demolished two homes under construction in the Rashid neighborhood of the town of Kaabiya in the Galilee region, inside the 1948 territories, on the pretext that they were built without a construction permit.
According to local sources, Israeli police demolition crews stormed the town, cordoned off the area, and prevented residents from approaching. They noted that the two homes had been standing for more than 60 years ago.
At least 12 other homes in the same neighborhood are under threat of demolition.
