Israeli forces prevent farmers from reaching their lands near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented farmers from reaching their lands in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, on Monday to harvest olives.

Local sources reported that IOF stormed the town of Sinjil, prevented farmers from reaching their lands, and forced them to leave.

During the annual olive harvest season, Palestinian lands are subjected to repeated attacks by colonists and the Israeli occupation army.

Farmers constantly face attacks and violations that prevent them from accessing their lands, leading to significant material losses and exacerbating their daily suffering under the occupation.

Since October 7, 2023, colonists have carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against citizens and their property, resulting in the deaths of 33 citizens in the West Bank.

The attacks by the occupation and its colonists also resulted in the uprooting, destruction, and damage of a total of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
