Colonists uproot over 80 olive trees near Hebron

HEBRON, October 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonist cut down more than 80 olive trees in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron, on Sunday.

Local sources told WAFA that armed groups from the colonies of Asfar and Kodufim, built on the town's lands, cut down the trees with electric saws in the Wadi Sa'ir area, completely destroying them.

The trees belong to several farmers in the town.

On October 1, colonists from the same two colonies cut down more than 200 olive trees and more than 100 fruit-bearing almond trees in the same area north of the town. This is part of a series of ongoing attacks aimed at displacing residents from their lands for the benefit of colonial expansion.
