Colonists attack farmers in two villages east of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked farmers on Sunday in the villages of Turmus Ayya and al-Mughayer, located east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that colonists targeted farmers in the plains of Turmus Ayya, stealing olives before retreating from the area.

The same sources added that several colonists also attacked lands belonging to local residents in the Wadi Omar area south of al-Mughayer, preventing farmers from reaching their fields.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee, a total of 158 attacks against olive harvesters have been documented since the beginning of the current season. Of these, 17 were carried out by the Israeli military, while colonists were responsible for 141.

It is also noteworthy that colonists attacked al-Mughayer yesterday, setting fire to three vehicles. The latest incident involved the theft of olives just two days ago.
