JERICHO, October 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked on Saturday afternoon the Arab al-Rashaydeh area north of Jericho.

Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the al-Baidar human rights organization, told WAFA that dozens of armed colonists, heavily guarded by Israeli army, stormed the community and carried out acts of intimidation and violence against the residents.

The Arab al-Rashaydeh community, located in the Jordan Valley area north of Jericho, is one of several Bedouin communities that have long been subjected to settler violence and displacement pressure.

Israeli colonists, often accompanied by the army, have carried out frequent incursions into the area, damaging property, harassing residents, and restricting access to grazing lands and water sources.
