RAMALLAH, October 25, 2025 (WAFA) – For the second week in a row, Israeli forces continue to prevent Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands to harvest olives in the town of Kobar, northwest of Ramallah.
Local sources said that Israeli troops continue to close the iron gate they installed during the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, which leads to citizens' lands, preventing farmers from accessing them.
These forces also detained elderly Fahd Abu al-Hajj following a verbal altercation between him and soldiers.
Last week, the occupation forces prevented Palestinians from accessing their lands in Kobar and fired live ammunition towards them.
Olive pickers have been witnessing unprecedented escalation in attacks by colonists and occupation soldiers, who prevent them from harvesting olives and accessing their lands in several areas.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, its teams have monitored a total of 158 attacks against olive pickers since the beginning of the current season. The occupation army carried out 17 attacks, while colonists carried out 141.
