GAZA, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s assault on the Gaza Strip has risen to 68,280 killed and 170,375 injured since October 7, 2023, according to medical sources.
Local health authorities reported that 14 Palestinians, including one killed by direct targeting by Israeli forces and 13 whose bodies were recovered from the rubble arrived at hospitals across the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
Health officials noted that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews face severe challenges in reaching them due to the ongoing destruction and lack of access to many affected areas.
Authorities further stated that since the ceasefire declared on October 11, at least 89 Palestinians have been killed and 317 others injured, while specialized teams have recovered 449 bodies from beneath the debris.
