RAMALLAH, October 23, 2025 (WAFA) – A report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) showed a decrease in Trade Balance Deficit for Registered Goods by 5% in August, 08/2025 compared to August 2024.
Exports increased in August, 2025 by 29% compared to August, 2024 and reached USD 176.6 Million.
Exports to Israel increased in August, 2025 by 32% compared to August, 2024 and it represented 92% of total exports in August, 2025.
At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 5% during the same period compared to August, 2024.
Imports increased in August, 2025 by 2% compared to August, 2024 and reached USD 653.2 Million.
Imports from Israel increased by 14% in August, 2025 compared to August, 2024 and it represented 64% of total imports in August, 2025.
On the other hand, imports from other countries decreased by 13% compared to August, 2024.

Trade Balance on Registered Goods
The trade balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, showed a decrease in trade deficit by 5% in August, 2025 compared to August, 2024 and reached USD 476.6 Million.
