NEW YORK, October 22, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the Israeli occupation authorities are carrying out demolition operations in the northern West Bank and forcing residents to flee their areas.
UNRWA said in a statement on Wednesday that the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams camps have been evacuated and their residents prevented from returning.
It noted that colonists' violence and the expansion of settlements have led to the forced displacement of Palestinians from their lands, warning that these practices pave the way for annexation.
UNRWA added that "Israeli laws against the agency have resulted in the closure of UN schools in the West Bank and the dismissal of international staff."
