Colonists uproot 60 olive trees in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron

HEBRON, October 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Tuesday evening uprooted 60 olive trees in the village of Susya, located in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Local activist Osama Makhamreh said that a group of colonists uprooted and broke 60 olive trees belonging to two local brothers. The colonists also destroyed a fence surrounding the land and filled in a water well that was under construction.

They further released their cattle and sheep into vineyards and orchards in the Khallet al-Hummus area, southeast of the town of Yatta, nearby.
