RAMALLAH, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Armed colonists, backed by Israeli occupation forces, attacked this evening the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, according to a local official.
Marwan Sabah, head of the Umm Safa Village Council, told WAFA that armed colonists attacked residents harvesting olives in the western area of the village, opened fire toward them, and chased one resident from the Joudeh family to his home in the area.
The colonists also opened fire toward the Joudeh family homes; however, no injuries were reported.
Israeli forces later stormed the village from the western side to provide protection for the colonists, leading to confrontations; however, no injuries or detentions were reported.
