THE JORDAN VALLEY, 20-10-2025 (WAFA) - Colonists began fencing off lands in the northern Jordan Valley on Monday, in preparation for seizure.

The head of the Al-Malih village council and the Bedouin encampments, Mahdi Daraghmeh, told WAFA that a number of colonists have begun fencing off areas of land in the areas of Umm al-Quba, Samra, and al-Marmaleh.

He added that the area of ​​land being fenced is estimated at more than four thousand dunums, owned by land registry records to more than 300 families.

The northern Jordan Valley has witnessed a significant increase in the frequency of colonists' attacks on citizens and their property.

These attacks include raiding homes, intimidating and assaulting them, destroying their property, and pursuing them in pastures, preventing them from entering them, and assaulting and stealing their livestock.
