GAZA, October 19, 2025 (WAFA) – In yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement, several Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured this evening in Israeli airstrikes on the town of Az-Zawayda and the city of Khan Yunis.
Local sources reported that at least two Palestinians, including a journalist, were killed in an Israeli drone shelling that targeted a tent in the Shalihat area, southwest of Az-Zawayda in central Gaza.
In addition, a Palestinian woman was killed and several others, mostly children, were injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a tent for displaced persons near Asda’s area, north of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has continued to rise, reaching 68,159, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 170,203 others have also been injured.
