JERUSALEM, October 19, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces today demolished two Palestinian-owned barracks in the Wadi Qaddum area of Silwan neighborhood, in East Jerusalem, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed Wadi Qaddum and proceeded to demolish the barracks of Jerusalemite Hani Al-Salaymeh, under the pretext of lacking an Israeli-issued permit.

A young Palestinian man was also detained by Israeli forces during the raid, during which the latter fired stun grenades at residents; however, no injuries were reported.
