SALFIT, October 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces assaulted several youths this evening while setting up a military checkpoint in the village of Kifl Hares, in the central West Bank province of Salfit.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that the soldiers briefly detained anyone present in the area, assaulting and handcuffing some of them, and held several vehicles before later releasing their passengers.
Kifl Hares and surrounding areas have witnessed repeated incursions and attacks by Israeli forces and colonists, particularly around religious sites claimed by colonists inside the village.
Residents frequently face restrictions, closures, and assaults during these incursions, which often coincide with colonist visits under heavy military protection.
