RAMALLAH, October 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces set up on Saturday a military checkpoint in the center of the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah.
According to local sources, Israeli troops stormed the village with military reinforcements, set up a military checkpoint in the center of the village, and searched Palestinians' vehicles and checked their IDs.
Israeli forces also tore down two posters of slain Palestinians, Jihad Ajaj and Muhammad Alawi, which had been placed at the village roundabout.
Alawi and Ajaj both were shot dead by Israeli colonists on September 13 and October 8.
