BETHLEHEM, October 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday assaulted a young Palestinian man after detaining him, and set up a military checkpoint in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, according to local sources.
Witnesses said the soldiers detained an unidentified young man and severely beat him before releasing him.
The forces also erected a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town, stopping vehicles, inspecting them, and checking the IDs of residents, which caused heavy traffic congestion in the area.
