NABLUS, October 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian olive pickers on Friday in the towns of Aqraba, south of Nablus, and Farkha, south of Salfit, according to local sources.

In Aqraba, Israeli colonists assaulted farmers tending to their olive fields near the town, forcing them off their lands.

In Farkha, in the central West Bank province of Salfit, a farmer was assaulted and injured by Israeli colonists while harvesting olives in the village.

Mustafa Hammad, head of the Farkha village council, told WAFA that the farmer had been picking olives with his wife and son when colonists attacked and beat him severely. He was transferred to Salfit Governmental Hospital for treatment.

Hammad added that the colonists had forced the family off their land last week and returned this week to repeat the assault.

The West Bank has seen repeated attacks by Israeli colonists who target Palestinian farmers, especially during the olive harvest season. These attacks often include beatings, theft of crops, and destruction of property, and are carried out under the protection of the Israeli army.
