RAMALLAH, October 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces early Friday closed the entrances to several towns and villages east of the city of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces closed the entrances to the towns and villages of Ein Yabrud, Beitin, Deir Dibwan, and Burqa, banning residents’ movement in and out of these areas.
The Israeli army also sealed off the road connecting the villages of Dura al-Qari and Ein Yabrud. The road serves as the only access route for those villages, particularly after the Israeli army’s closure of the northern entrance to the city of al-Bireh since October 7, 2023.
Israeli forces also set up a military checkpoint beneath the bridge of Deir Dibwan village.
