JERUSALEM, October 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces set up on Thursday a military checkpoint in the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to a local official.
The Jerusalem Governorate said that Israeli troops set up a military checkpoint, stopped Palestinian vehicles in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and checked their ID cards, causing a severe traffic jam.
