RAMALLAH, October 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Tuesday evening briefly held a WAFA news team near the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah.
WAFA correspondent Aseel Sadeq said that she and WAFA staff member Mohammad Barghouthi were held for a short period while returning from Burqa, where she had been preparing a report on violations committed against the village by Israeli forces and colonists.
She added that the forces stopped their vehicle, searched it, and questioned them about their journalistic assignment.
