JERUSALEM, October 14, 2025 (WAFA) – An extremist minister in the Israeli occupation government led colonists' raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, along with dozens of colonists, on the last day of the Jewish Sukkot holiday.
The raid included tours of the Al-Aqsa courtyards and the performance of Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the mosque, under the protection of the occupation police.
The raid coincided with the intensification of Israeli military measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, imposing obstacles on the entry of worshippers and Jerusalemites.
This is the second time that Ben-Gvir leads raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque within one week.
Last Wednesday, Ben-Gvir led 1,200 colonists who stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the second day of the Hebrew holiday of Sukkot.
