HEBRON, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was injured this evening after being shot with live ammunition during a colonists’ attack on farmers in the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, according to local sources.

Colonists also assaulted several homes in the towns of Yatta and Beit Ummar in Hebron.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that a 42-year-old man sustained live-bullet injuries to his hand and abdomen after being shot by an Israeli colonist and was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.

Local sources reported that a group of armed colonists attacked farmers in the Al-Qrinat area, opened live fire toward them, assaulted them, and prevented them from working on their lands, which are threatened with seizure for the benefit of a nearby illegal colonial outpost recently established on Palestinian citizens’ lands.

The colonists also attacked several homes belonging to the Sabarneh family in the Khirbet el-Qutt area adjacent to the Karmei Tzur colony, which was built illegally on the lands of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

In a related development, colonists, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked the homes of the Rabee family in the village of At-Tuwani, in Masafer Yatta, and attempted to steal livestock; however, residents confronted them and prevented the theft.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces seized a drilling machine belonging to a local resident while he was tending to his land in the Bani Na’im wilderness, east of Hebron.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
