BETHLEHEM, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists began building a synagogue on land in the town of Tekoa, southeast of Bethlehem, on Sunday.
Tekoa Municipality Director Tayseer Abu Mufreh told WAFA correspondent that settlers began building a synagogue in a pastoral colonial outpost established after October 7, 2023, in the "Riyah Riah" area in the Tekoa Wilderness.
He pointed out that the colonists established several colonial outposts on high hills in the Tekoa Wilderness, seized water wells, and paved colonial roads.
This portends the seizure of more land, its expansion, and its conversion into colonies.
