RAMALLAH, October 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinian young men at dawn on Sunday during a military raid on the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, according to local sources.
The sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed the town in the early hours, raided several homes, and detained eight young men after conducting extensive searches.
Silwad has witnessed repeated incursions by Israeli occupation forces in recent months, as part of an ongoing campaign of almost daily raids across the occupied West Bank. These raids often lead to confrontations with local residents and result in detentions, injuries, and property damage.
