HEBRON, October 11, 2025 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was shot by Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Saturday, and six others, including two women, were arrested from various parts of the Hebron Governorate.
Local and security sources told WAFA that a young man was shot in the thigh by Israeli occupation forces while near his home in the village of Tabqa in the town of Dura, southwest of Hebron. The forces prevented an ambulance from reaching him, leaving him to bleed bleeding for approximately an hour before transporting him by Palestinian Red Crescent crews to Dura Governmental Hospital for treatment, where his injury was described as moderate.
Israeli occupation forces also arrested Ahmed Muhammad Hamdan from Dura after raiding and searching his family's home.
In the eastern town of Bani Naim, soldiers arrested Mustafa Issam Manasra, Hazem Abdullah Issa Manasra, and Alaa Muhammad Gharib. They searched their homes, ransacked their contents, and seized a sum of money from the aforementioned woman's home.
Additionally, soldiers also arrested Anis Abdul Wadud Ghaith from the city of Hebron and Israa Ashraf Khamayseh from the town of Taffuh, west of Hebron, after searching their homes and ransacking their contents.
Several military checkpoints were also set up at the entrances to Hebron and its towns, villages, and refugee camps, and several main and side roads were closed with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
