Slain Palestinian 25-year-old Mohammad Adnan Salameh

JENIN, October 10, 2025 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was killed and a teenager was injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire on Friday night in the city of Jenin, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

PRCS said its crews transferred the body of a youth who was killed after being shot in the abdomen and neck by Israeli forces’ live fire.

Local sources reported that an Israeli military force raided several neighborhoods in Jenin, opened fire toward residents, and shot and killed a Palestinian youth. The Ministry of Health announced that the youth was identified as 25-year-old Mohammad Adnan Salameh.

A 15-year-old child was also injured by live bullet shrapnel in his lower extremities near the Cinema Roundabout, and was transferred to hospital by Red Crescent crews.

With the killing of Salameh, the number of Palestinians killed in Jenin governorate has risen to 50 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the city and its camp on January 21, which also extended to several surrounding towns and villages.

During the aggression, Israeli forces completely destroyed more than 600 homes in Jenin camp and partially demolished about 1,000 housing units, causing the displacement of approximately 22,000 residents to the city and nearby towns and villages.
